So my camrea sucks at these sorta shots so some of the damage is hard to see via camera...
but the deal is, they must of yanked the mouth open till the fabric ripped. it now hangs disjointed and awkwardsly making it difficult to wear as it's a strain to close the mouth :(
hurray... :(
think of it this way:
WHANNA KNOW HOW I GOT THESE SCARS?

I'm so sorry hun! >_< That really sucks.
....the rip I mean, not your snout. :P
Its like someone socked you in the mouth and broke a jaw! ;-;
Whats TSA?
Forgive my ranting...although I personally haven't had any encounters with the TSA, a lot of my friends have, and their horror stories about it have made me wary.
BTW, for anyone who is reading this, if you plan on going anywhere that doesn't require crossing an ocean, GO BY LAND. This means either drive there, or take a bus or a train. This way, you'll never have to deal with TSA, because they only patrol the airports.
I travel for work, and I have had stuff roughed up, destroyed, and disappear almost in every country I have been to.
Most recent, Tel Aviv Israel, they pried a 170 dollar laptop charger apart with me watching... I got a form to get reimbursed, I filed, never got it...
I have seen the same crap everywhere, so while the TSA might have fucked it up here, theres a good chance it would have got fucked up elsewhere just as easily.
You might be able to claim something from them?
I got them refund me the price of my fursuit case because I put a TSA approved lock on it and they cut it (and the BAG closing piece!) off with a bolt cutter.
receits and appraisals.....
Ill sort it ^^
They're extremely paranoid and will take anything seriously.
Good luck
I bring heads on the plane as carry on (we can fit three in a dufflebag that counts as carry on) - just because they're a lot easier to damage then the rest of the suit.
Hopefully you can get some kind of compensation for this damage.
1) gps uint
2) a good relyable car
3) the said car could make 13hr drives
4) money for parking
6) place for said parking
then yes, i'd drive
Like I said before, if it's not coming from the mouth of some government/business power, nothing, or very little, will likely get done. Relate yourself to the dude who had his guitar thrown recently, and you may get a little more attention. Good luck on that, though, you'll need it.
They might have been checking inside the material, for any sort of illegal paraphernalia. You'd be surprised what conceals drugs nowerdays. I've seen from pillows to sweaters.
It does suck that you have damage on your suit though.
rephrase?
was about to say "I'm not a lire"...
and well me with hot glue gun, lol, i'll glue everything BUT THE SUIT XD i'm super all thumbs when it comes to crafts and txtiles
damn them
Did you have a bottle of liquid stuffed in with it? Maybe toiletries or lube or soemthing?
Something had to have peaked their interest to go inside of it in the first place.
It was packed under the body, nothing inside. Maybe they thought who ever wears something like that MUST be smuggling drugs *shrugs*
