My Celestial Mage from a DNDesque game campaign that I never ended up finishing

Stargazer was born in the Land in the Mirror, a magical world many considered to be pure legend, a fantastical world to tell children about as a bedtime story and nothing more, sent to this realm as a refugee to escape the harsh truth that is the dystopian society of the Land in the Mirror. With nothing more than her mothers diary and her fathers amulet she was thrust into the unforgiving city that is Silverhearth, a melting pot for the lowest scum of the Realm. Seen as a freak for the antlers sprouting from her skull shes shunned from the very orphanage that took her in at birth. Living as a thief until a kind librarian took pity on her and educated her in all she could through the books that lined the walls of her home, becoming a mentor and a mother figure to Star over the course of many years.
Waking up one day, Star finds the library she has come to call home completely destroyed, the woman that had come to care for her nowhere to be found, and her amulet missing. She seeks help at the Guildhall in Ironhall and though she has no gold to give in return a small group of the guild members agree to help her in her search.
