This single is about taking time to put aside ones own views in order to see the big picture of the world, more specifically, the US.

"Whether people want to admit it or not, we are a broken place. Some want to believe that everything is under control, but if we take the time to think about it, bonds we have here at home have been shattered, just because some people have an opinion different from yours. It has become all about separation and diversity based on what you agree with, rather than actually respecting the views of others around them, and in a way, that can be a bad thing."
