Not exactly. Their house, their rules. If they aren't supportive, and he needs that roof, then he must abide by their rules, or risk being thrown out. Assuming he's old enough to legally consent to adult activity, he would be of the age to be able to be legally told to leave that house and find one of his own. You can act like a child and create drama, or be mature and respect rules.
The way i see it in real life . It can go two ways ethier a trusting/accpeting parent or an irresponsible one. Depends really. I mean in the context of this comic. Parent is trusting and respectable. They may or may not be doing more then snuggling its left to assumtion. I assume those two are made for each other so we know its happy ending all around. But in real life there so many pro's to being accpeting of this as a parent and so many cons and factors as well. Like there maturity level, the concept of sex and protection,You have to ask yourself as a parent ultimately should I allow this behavior under my roof or not?its kinda scary you just dont want your kid to A. Get someone pregnant. B. Contract something, C. get used for just sex. D.keep them classy enough where there not just sleeping around with every other guy or gal in your house.

Honestly I believe most parents when it comes to this issue just want to protect you as much as they can cause they know when you finally reach that part of your life when you fly solo your responsible for the cosquences good or bad. They just want to protect your innocence and childhood for as long they can. So as an adult you dont look back at your early life with distain or regret wishing you did things differently. And that you made it atleast to your adult life in one peice. <3
If you're lucky. Many parents never EVER view their children as adults. I turn 47 next month, have lived on my own since I was 22, and I STILL have to remind my Mother that I'm not 9 years old, and as such, don't need her judgement, approval, or anything regarding my life choices.
lol, oh if you got THAT much warning, you were lucky. Back in the stone age when I was a teenager, the only warning I got was them busting the door open in the hopes that they were going to catch me doing something that would give them an excuse to create mass drama. Controlling parents..... Mine were the textbook example.
