This...has been a character a LONG time coming.

Originally conceived several years ago, Masque here was actually the precurser to the DotND universe. But I always struggled with her concept so I never really did much with her idea for quite some time.

But! With today being Friday the 13th, in October no less, I figured it was finally time to change that! And so, here's Masque! Courtesy of WinterWarning over on DA.

Masque is of course just a moniker. The character herself is Samantha Carthright, a Historian and Artist who comes across the titular mask because of her work. The mask itself isn't exactly from around here, and it gifts its wearer with some rather supernatural abilities that are just a teensy bit reality breaking (lets just say those ribbons have a mind of their own).

Several awesome people actually came together to help me conceptualize Masque's appearance, including  vicious713 and  kaboozlefa . But I'd really like to thank WinterWarning for putting together this amazing refsheet.
