Just a real quick and easy one for myself. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

For all that I've rambled about how Elnor's death had such a big impact on Darius, I've never actually drawn him in mourning garments or expressing grief in any way, not even wearing a ribbon or something. I mean... Elnor was a total asshole, and their relationship was unhealthy on so many levels. Still I imagine Darius would've thrown him a grand funeral. Would've also sent the Big Bad an invitation, who of course didn't show.
That made me think about concrete funeral rites in Noian culture. What would've happened to the remains of Elnor that they managed to scrape off the road? As I mentioned somewhere, biological things don't grow well on Tulpoid lifeforms, which also means they don't rot well. Spiritually, they are all about Karma and rebirths and returning to the Universe, so a funeral service would be a strange mixture between new-agey esotericism and western traditions. Everyone showing up at a sacred place dressed in black, partaking in shared meditation and sending "white light" to the soul of the deceased to lead them on the right path. Followed by a ritemaster/Seer of choice releasing the energetic portion of the body back into the cosmos, which would actually look really pretty. What remains is a very small portion of organic ashes, which are scattered to the wind or otherwise given back to the Earth. There would be no graveyards as such, they'd have to use other ways and places to commemorate the dead, but I'm still undecided on that.
Also, have some mood music, which is honestly far too pretty for these characters.
"Incense and myrrh
Silken red mahogany
Beautifully disfigured
The scents of orchids fill the air..."

Your thoughts about funeral rites are interesting to read, you can conclude many things about a culture in their way they treat their dead.
Also aw, seeing Darius grieving makes me feel feeley feelings. Have a compassionate hug.
I love the small details you put in the picture in form of the little raindrops and the water flowing down on him and collecting in the head. The background is nicely out of focus and the lightning is beautiful.
