You know, Doris just reminded me of when I was the mascot for a local county fair many years back. There was a problem with the head (a weight in the back of it became loose) and they almost put a cowboy hat on me. Naturally, because this was my first big gig outside of school, I declined the idea of being a man horse and tried keeping the weight tucked in the back of the head.
