It happened this morning, my fox Shadow was playing with dog and I went for his food, when I returned, Shadow was missing. We were searching for him and finally found him dead under balcony... I cannot imagine how could he fall from such place (the glass-fencing or how should I call it was high enough)
I found him in the grass and brought home... He is lying in a box now... the burial will be today. I WILL DAMN MISS HIM!!! :'(((

I know, sweetie. But try to stay strong, okay? I will always be here for you when you need to talk. I know it's not much of a comfort right now. But I would hold you if I could. Ach jaj... To se nemělo stát... Život je opravdu někdy hodně nespravedlivý, obzvláště k těm, které tolik milujeme. Je mi to moc líto, opravdu moc. Vím, jak se teď musíš cítit, ale rozhodně to nevzdávej a drž se. Nemá smysl se obviňovat. I když žádná slova teď v tuto chvíli nemohou zahnat tvou bolest, uvidíš, že jednou, až přijde ten správný čas, tato bolest přebolí. Pak už budeš jen vzpomínat na ty krásné chvíle, které jste spolu za ten krátký čas prožili. Vím, o čem mluvím - sám jsem si podobnu záležitost prošel několikrát a nikdy to nebylo snadné. Ale věř, že zase bude dobře a že Shadow si teď určitě někde běhá tam nahoře, na věčně zelené louce. A třebaže odešel tak velmi brzo, měj na paměti, že díky tobě prožil věci krásné a šťastné, které by sotva kdy zažil. Ukázal jsi mu, že ne všichni jsou zlí, že jsou i tací, kterým záleží na dobru druhých. A on to bezpochyby věděl a byl ti za to vděčný, to mi věř.
Vytrhneš-li květinu, nikdy na jejím místě již nevyroste stejná. Ty pouze můžeš zasadit novou, aby tam nebylo tak prázdno. Kdo ví, třeba za čas... Moc na tebe s Vixey myslíme...

What will happen after the burial ? I mean, want to get another pet after sometime ?
Shame on me for asking this, but my neighbours lost their dog not long ago. I knew him since he was a little husky pup. So playful, happy, cute and many more. They came to me and asked me that. I only cried. They said that they think that Max (dog's name) would want that we keep going.
One month later a little husky pup, just like Max, came into my room with a toy in his mouth. They got a new one. I know she, her name is Kira, will never replace him, but I'm happy that they let me help to train her and that keeps me going.
Btw, as we went to Max grave, she suddenly started howling. I that moment I knew he was looking down on me.

I know the pain of losing a pet. a few years back my brother lost his puppy and she wasn't even a year old yet.. :( she just layed down one day and went without and reason whatso ever... we have a memorial in the back yard.. There is nothing more pain full then death of a loving pet or friend. even more painfull when you have you build the coffin and cross for you lost pet. =(
Im really heaart broken for the loss of your pet for i have been keeping up with you and your picture gallery if the cute little guy :) heh even got me a bit jealous that you could have such a beautifull creatue as your pet..
One thing though, never forget the time you spent together. and always cherrish it no matter how short the time may have been..

I'm sad as you, you know it. I just can't write before... It shouldn't end like this. We want only good for him and we did a lot. Maybe we can do more, maybe not. It's huge loss for you, me, other furries and good people, but the biggest lose it is for him. We died too soon, but he had a opportunity to meet good loving people. It's more dignified to end like this for him, than end at wardrobe.
I will never regret for everything we did. It was for good thing, and we did a good thing. What happends give as next opportunity to do more and we have not to miss it.

At least you can take comfort in knowing that he is safe and happy in heaven. I can see that, even in just these pictures, and you should know he wants you to be happy to. God would not have made such a special creature for you to love and be loving that he wouldn't also be more than glad to invite into his kingdom. let your heart be that of the love you gave him, and the world will embrace you.
Wow I can't believe some people here have such a sick sense of humour. Then again, I'm on a furry website.. I expect people to be morons.

I stumbled on this picture and it brought tears to my eyes as I read the story. Im terribly sorry for your loss...I know what its like to lose your pet...my dog died last month...I had her ever since she could be away from her mother...about 13 years...she was my first dog, I loved her with all my heart. So, you have my condolences.
