I played Starfox Adventures and I liked it. It was a good game with pretty graphics, challenging puzzles, and good voice acting, plus a really hot new character.

But it's not my favorite game. Besides having a crappy fighting style and annoying plot holes, there was a lot of wasted opportunities that still frustrates me to this day. Part of that frustration goes towards General Scales, but most it goes towards Krystal.

When I saw the trailers and pictures for SA before the game came out, I was expecting Krystal to have her own adventure separate from Fox, working with him but not alongside him; discovering things on her own and never meeting Fox until the finale. Instead, she gets pigeonholed into the worn-out "damsel in distress" role. Rides up the crotch.

To fill that void of expectations I had, I decided to draw out Krystal's own adventure here, with lots of mystery and discovery and danger and shit like dat. Somehow, it seems to fit her better.
