Make a lot of posts about what you think she should have done (Sammy, not Gem) and what's going through her mind.
This is an excellent example of the art of fine story telling, with edge of your seat suspense. Not so much today, but when I was a child, all that long ago, we'd wait as 'serials' aka 'cereals' (for their sponsors) would leave you hanging on a cliff, the bomb about to blow the bridge out as the train approaches, or the wagons surrounded by Indians. You had to wait an ENTIRE week to find out what was going to happen to your hero and his sidekick, and the girls in their lives.
What Sammy has done with Found harkens back to those days, at least for me. This is just great story telling, and it has me waiting for the next page.

Absolutely. Shine is what not only brought me to Sammy's art, but FA as well. I was just searching at random for expressive AB art, and low and behold I find this comic about a newcomer to the AB community. It was very relatable at that time. Then I discover Found which has gone so far beyond that in terms of depth and storytelling.
I don't even like AB or DL and it got me hooked.

Gem saw Souffle and Abbey talking on several occasions, at each point they werent liek "HAHAH we folled him, what an idiot" At no point were they like "great he's gone, now we can be all affectionate again" The fact that Gem witnessed them being concerned about him the fact that they were frustrated by his lack of coming round to the fact that he wasnt believing them when they were telling him nothing suspicious was going on...thats got to surly show that nothing was actually going on
He claimed that she confessed, but it's possible that she simply gave him what seemed like the only answer he'd accept out of sheer frustration with his pestering. As for giving Gem up, Nicole's reasoning was that it would be better than having her grow up stuck in an unhappy household with someone who hated her guts.
