Every once in awhile when I need a scene wipe or am stuck with the story, I do a postcard "comic" of Scott and Irving on their roadtrip. Mastedon Hill is a real place, and has a WICKED AWESOME giftshop.

Scott is a shark, Irving is a bee.

I love Irving's expression in this one. It's almost like one of those subtle, in-the-background MAD Magazine gags that you don't catch until the 31st reading.
