To let people know too: Since they showed Buck's knife in Ice Age 4(https://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/iceage/images/6/6c/Gupta_Knife.jpeg/revision/latest?cb=20130413075819 ), I usually like to make non-canon paw/tickle scenarios or perils of how Buck lost it and/or was captured by the pirates. None of it's canon nor did it ever happen though(hence Ice Age 5), but it's just for fun.
