This was another experiment I tried a long time ago, toying around with the idea of generative art by following a simple rule. In this case, I started with seven green dots, placed randomly on the page. Then I colored a ring around each dot in a different color, then a ring around each of those rings in yet another color. If two rings ever crossed over, I allowed them to join together forming a larger shape. Each iteration involves outlining the previous shape until the page is filled. This is the end result, and I rather like the patterns it produces. Maybe I should write a computer program to generate such art for me, now that I can actually do such things.
