You figure someone going to grab a bat would wear baggy clothing so they don't shred. Then again, you wont fit in any of your clothes more than likely , and how often are you going to be able to bust out of your clothes like that?

You could theoretically hug one, the main issue being they're tiny, and you might hurt it. Like it's hard to hug a rat.

A better way to safely interact would be to hold it loosely, so it's free to move, keeping it supported as you give it tiny pets

Now, I know this is gonna be a bit morbid but, what does the hive do about those with say crippling depressing who are turned? Do they just suddenly not feel depressed or do they not really have the ability to erase trauma and such and second, what about someone who like has a personal vendetta against the hive? like say a lover turned into one of the Drowlers? 'Yeah yeah, not official name for the head crab things but its not exactly wrong', I mean they're hardly just gonna go 'Oh well, I hated them for basically lobotomising my love interest but now I'm part of it and I suddenly love them and don't care'? I'm just REALLY curious!

Succubat hosts feel a lot of empathy for hives, and this, in addition to external pressures, push people to join hives. But it doesn't force them to forgive a hive that used crown crabs. It might make some people rationalize it though, or find a different hive to find shelter with, where they aren't living with people who would do that

So I guess all this talk about the crown crabs is kind of moot now, considering the rework?
