Back in March, 
sairyswolf asked for some new photographs that he could submit as part of his inclusion in 
November’s first deck of 
onefurall playing cards. The photoshoot took place amongst the gardens at Bear Creek Park. Being the “King of Heats,” Sairys was outfitted with a Party Bazar crown and carried a Mylar “Love” balloon. We tried a number of variations in different parts of the garden with and without the crown and balloon. After securing enough candidate images, we then wandered into the woods for some improvisations. While none of these images were ultimately chosen to be part of the deck of cards, the photoshoot was a rewarding experience in it’s own right. Many of the shots required Sairys to hold still for minutely adjusted poses, but he was always very patient and cooperative, and encouraged me to tryout as many ideas as were hatched.
