So now that summer's over and this is no longer topical... Here's something I ended up wanting to draw out after the weeks and weeks of being encased in forest fire smoke. I think we ended up getting over a month of just being encased in an endless smoke field. Not being able to see the mountains, having nothing but a foggy haze with no real marker for the sun felt pretty eerie. It just had this very post-apocalyptic feel to it, which led to this.
