This is really sweet. It reminds me of old Magic the Gathering artwork.

How big is it?

24" x 30"

To big for the scanner and the studio lights are not ideal for photos, that is why its a little grainy.

Oh, that's a tough size. What I like to do is break the picture into 4 quadrants and then "automerge" the images in Photoshop.

You can get a pretty high res file to work with that way.

Yea, but to much effort for just a scrap post about what I am working on.

I will get a much better version once done. *Wink*

Ah I see, well, glad you are keeping up with your creations, for being such a secret project it must be brilliant =)

This is beautiful so far. I suggest working on the wolf's eyes as they seem to be, weirdly beedy and stand out more than they should in the image.

Your lighting is beautiful! The textures are amazing. I'd also rework some the trees where they touch the sky as the blue kind of makes it look like it's in front of the tree in spots (specifically the one just to the left of the bear).

I hope you are ok with the critique. I miss painting and omg this is so beautiful so far.

I only just stated painting the sky, next will be the branched and needles, then the trunks, etc. The wolves eyes are wonky, because again, under painting. This is NO where near finished.

Just making an update post to show my customers and followers that I am working, and my lack of content recently was due to several conventions, a GoH spot, a commission that was contracted with the request not to be shown until after a certain time period (so I had little to show for the last week and a half of work).
