Seeing as how  xyluc was offering to colour some of her previous work, I decided to grab that offer and have few of her SFW and NSFW work coloured.

Here we see Darklord Vergal Garghan, wearing his signature armour that he was sent back home in by the unholy deity Taegan after serving tens of years in his service in another world. After arriving in his original world, the armour has seen scarce use as Vergal has been spending most of his time in the depths of politics and in his palace upon his home island of Geragha that he rules over. Creating a plan that will soon bring the main continent to its knees while also charting and forming alliances with other races who are sick of the status quo. Once these plans are put into action however, this armour blessed and created by Taegan will be drenched in blood once more.

The colour scheme here represents his past and current titles and deeds:

The purple colour reflects the actual colour of his magic along with the colours often seen in the storms that he is able to create and control. It also reflects the colour of a stream of chaotic magic that runs through the core of his homeworld. A stream that he fell in when he was but a twenty something year old youth, and a stream which gave him his magical powers and glimpses of future in the first place.

The red seen upon the horns in his helmet, the metallic dragon heads upon his shoulders, and other assorted parts are a reminder of his role and place in the new cycle of dark and light that he helped to create in the world where Taegan now resides. The Red Lord was his most used title back then, not to mention that the tower he constructed and lived in back then also hosted a red, crystalline structure along with one of the three hearts of Taegan: The red heart of destruction.

As to the sword - which is one of many seeing as how he favours a flamberge of same purple colouring as his magic and the official colours of his island nations banner - the blue sword represents his fellow Darklord upon the world where the dark deity Taegan now resides. One of the two other Darklords that is, towards who Vergal started growing feelings later down the line when their combined conquest in the name of Taegan had almost reached its end. It also serves as a reminder of the events that almost cost Vergal his life. The blue blade has also been forged out of a blue metallic structure, originating from the tower in the other world which belonged to the other Darklord that Vergal had feelings for. A memento, yet just as effective as his other weapons.
