Letting a crocodile close his jaws around one's head is quite the risk to take. Of any creature in the world, there is nothing with a stronger bite than a crocodile, and while keeping their jaws from opening is quite possible, the jaw-closing muscles are extremely strong.
It seems for some reason or another, Leon has his head in Tarvash's jaws and is getting a firsthand scent of a crocodile's carnivore breath. Clearly this is something of an unpleasant experience, for vulpine with the sensitive nose, at least. Tarvash, for his part, seems to be rather enjoying this.
