Crabeater dragons are named so for the spines along their backs, which resemble the teeth of crabeater seals. Crabeater dragons, sometimes called Sieve dragons, are able to glide through the air without the use of wings. They manipulate the wind beneath their feathers and talons, and harness it to give them lift.
Crabeater seals eat mostly fish, crustaceans, and seafaring birds. They are able to hold their breath for long periods of time, and may sometimes hide beneath boats to give sailors an awful fright.
