Jeremy Amundson is a young Starfleet engineer on the USS Paramaribo. Half-human and half-Vulcan, he was raised by a human family on Earth; as such, he is more familiar with human customs than Vulcan ones, although he still occasionally struggles with social interaction.



Jeremy was bothered by the way the combadge felt when he wore it, so he took it apart and put its internal components inside a TOS-era (~100 year old) handheld communicator, which he attaches to his belt. He also has a set of electronic keys that he uses for two-factor authentication into ship systems.



Jeremy usually eats lunch alone because he doesn't feel like talking to anyone while eating.
