Located a few of the older WCOTP strips, this one featuring Maxie with a Mosin Nagant M44 carbine.

Maxie actually had the carbine a few years at this point and never actually shot it yet.

That's pretty good! The part about putting dislocated shoulders back in place from the previous shot is about right too. Damn things kick like mules!

I got two--one Russian and one Polish. Shoots .30 Tokarev and .32 ACP/.32 S & W/.32 H & R Magnum out of 'em with chamber inserts.

WHY? 7.62X54R is far cheaper to shoot out of it and more readily available.

Less blast, recoil, and can shoot 'em indoors. Plus I roll my own. So even cheaper shooting.

What about 7.62×51mm NATO / .308 Winchester? Ask me, they offer more stopping power than 5.56×45mm NATO, and can travel further which makes them perfect for "Designated Marksman Rifles" and Snipers.

I would worry about what would seep out of the stock while cooking with it. Nice depiction of the world's most-produced bolt-action. And about my least favorite, although you can't help but respect the thing.
