Not likely, more as in the native Britons, I believe. It was revised recently and almost everything not of the British Isles was taken out, save for a tiny bit of Euro-Jewish, and that comes from my paternal grandfather, but even in him it was obviously long ago it came in. If it was "English", more German and French would likely have come up, I'd think. Doesn't mean some didn't come in but if they did, they would've been bred with by natives to point that their contributions basically died off.
I remember a theory that both the Celtic speakers and Germans did not so much as genetically conquer Britain but rather took over the power structures and imposed their languages on the native populace, so it'd make sense that, especially for someone on the western half of the island (which seems where most of my family comes from outside of Ireland, also I'm including Scotland as part of Britain in this analysis), genetically there would not be much change.
Of course, everything of this should be taken with a grain of salt, as all genetics should, but it's not that much of a stretch to say that I ended up with almost no connection to the Germanic peoples.

Ah, Good. I know of the history of our peoples. But that was nice to see that you about the Isles’ history as well. Keep one thing in mind though, when I meant “British” I though you were mistaking that term for English which is often the name refers to.
Just FYI (though no one is asking), I’m half Scottish, Irish, Welsh and Manx from my father, and French-Breton from my mother.
