Blood and fire, both burn hot,
And fight to warm whatever's not.
Light and life pour forth from both,
And strive to make and endless growth.
The iron from a dying star,
Now the core of what you are.
The end of one life seeds another,
Sun's fire kindled by dying brother.
Molten metal, sinks to the core,
The Earth was fire in days of yore.
Then cooling, most is trapped inside,
'cept for a trace that's set aside.
Oceans come, the iron's rust,
Now enters life, we know it must,
Take in the metal, sharp and red.
An iron core, alive or dead.
Now the metallic journey's through,
For it has made its way to you.
Pumping through with each heartbeat,
Strength and courage, blood and meat.
So wear with pride the color red,
And fight for every drop you shed.
For it has never been a sin,
To show the fire, and strength, within.
And fight to warm whatever's not.
Light and life pour forth from both,
And strive to make and endless growth.
