OHHH GGOODDD I went camping with spotted skunks on a geology field trip in the floor of the Grand Canyon. We were rolled up in our sleeping bags on the ground, and James "Wishbone" Roberts called out "THE SKUNKS ARE AMONG US"...he had experienced them every year before--just don't mess with them or let them in your sleeping bag, and you'll be OK.
