four it is, and i seem to have given them six eyestalks instead of five,
and since a big round tummy in the middle seems to be the only thing else that they have,
i can only guess they must be somehow part plant, though they also have fur, which can be any color,
or pattern, though most of the ones we see in public tend toward turquoise.

Do you have a name for these "People?" Four legs and six eyes on stalks seems more "Natural" than five eyes and three legs. I also like the "Plant People" idea a lot. Looking at your images gives me all sorts of ideas on how other sensory receptors would work. For example, how would a green plant based eye work? Would they communicate with others not of their species by rubbing a pair of eyes together, or drumming them on some sort of surface. Hey... Maybe they have a sort of "Semaphore" type of communication where the positions of the eyes speak for them in a language your other characters clearly understand.

And it's nice to know that you understand where I got the term "Grocci" from.

well i've been calling them groclets, but i'm pretty sure that's not their name for themselves.
i'm not good at coming up with names. i'm open to suggestions.

i've speculated in my mind that laumer may have come up with groacci from hienline's abreviation of groc for grocery shopping.
(was it laumer, or that other guy i get him mixed up with who's name i often fail to remember?)
