This actually happened before the 'Pose Practice' actually. I hadn't doodled in a very long time and so tried drawing my Fursona. Note...I never drew furries before this, so I took the approach I use to do with a lot of my characters.

I also decided to use paint tool sai and I've found I enjoy bouncing between it and Photoshop for coloring, sketching, etc. It really depends what I'm doing. Surprisingly as basic as this is, I learned a lot just playing with things!

Notes on the Fursona:

Takara is a Melanistic Leopard (What use to be one of two melanistic big cats recognized as a 'Black Panther', the other being a Jaguar) with Vitiligo that makes her entire head perfectly white. The red inner ear, dot brows, and others are dyes or makeup as she is a trained Maiko before she was chosen for her duty. Takara herself is a guide to the afterlife, signaled by the layer of pure gold that appears melded into her skin/fur and the lantern that has become joined with her tail. She travels the 'in-between' of the worlds and should a spirit stray from the path she presents, they will be taken or devoured by the Oni that wait in the shadows.
