And... to be honest I wasn't necessarily going for the "simplicity" angle, but when you're as sub-par an artist as I am you have to work with what you've got.
Plus- it's kinda unavoidable when you have a stark white character filling up the entire canvas, hehehe

I can relate, being an even more sub-par artist I can only do so much, but this really is a great piece of work
