oops
tabrix is the narrative continuity of tabrix the hunting-hound slave and kaha the nothing heir
tabrix's wilderness interpretation was freedom; kaha's nothing interpretation was freedom. when they died, their interpretations combined to create a narrative continuity in the void waste. tabrix wastedrift has the memories of both tabrix and kaha and a personality informed by both, but it uses tabrix's body entirely, usually, and more tabrix-mannerisms than kaha-mannerisms by default
so where did all the kaha stuff go?
the kaha stuff took the "nothing is freedom" to the highest extreme and broke free from all constraints of reality and narrative structure and causality and became a horrifying nothing monstrosity that's linked to the wastedrift
when the wastedrift gains story the kaha parasite gains more nothing mass. it's the shadow of a story, and the larger it grows the more powerful it grows too
it's sentient and sapient nothingness that's far removed from existence because that's what kaha wanted
tabrix wastedrift is a wanderer who sees new things all the time because it's what tabrix wanted
kaha just wanted to be away from all of it, without being entirely willing to let it all go. so attaching itself to the rest of tabrix works for her most of the time
if something inteferes with the continuity of the wastedrift, well--if the wastedrift dies in a world, the kaha parasite will just consume it and let another one form in the void waste from its own shadow. that's fine. the wastedrift can die as much as it wants, death is just a thing you agree to, and you can stop being dead whenever you want. a narration can end and the story can end but the character can just keep going, unaffected, as if it had never happened. that's the freedom of nothing really mattering!
it's super rare things actually can threaten the kaha parasite
when the wastedrift as a complete entity stops playing around, like, really actually wants to be Done with a situation and a situation still insists on itself, and when ALL attempts to end the situation in the world of story is tried first, when EVERYTHING has failed, and or when the wastedrift entity in its entirety is threatened, the rest of kaha, reluctantly, finally takes direct action.
narrative discontinuity hits, all rules that restrain the wastedrift and make it a coherent character are shelved, and the nothing parasite switches places with the story gathering mouth-end of things
it usually starts by devouring the entire world it's in and everything that's inside it, and if the problem is still going after that, well, now you're in the voidwaste, fighting a mary sue that's stopped roleplaying her overpowered character with you and is just reaching across the table and stabbing you with the pen she was using
have fun with that

Whoa.
And now I'm trying to think where this places the act of mortals having sex with Tabrix. Considering she's not a standalone creature but kinda small extremity of an interdimensional monstrosity.
I think I have an analogy.
Think of a stallion mounting a dummy, ejaculating into a phantom vagina held by a dedicated employee of a major racing horse center, with the all stables, race tracks, tickets, gambling, jockeys, bleachers, popcorn and syndicated international TV broadcasts from the races. For the non-sapient stallion it's a little like a moment of intimacy with a weird mare variant, while in fact he's just taking part in a production process for expanding a huge soulless corporate entity.
