Once you eat someone they pretty much have to stay eaten unless you want legal trouble. Hopefully you only ate someone you didn't feel bad about eating. In this case the kid was a little jackass and if he'd been an adult Rick wouldn't feel bad about it, but rules are different for kids. And he didn't eat the mom to cover it up, he ate her because she shoved her head down his throat and as much as asked to be eaten.

You know I just realized. All the predatory antics in your world would turn the Darwin Awards into a highlight reel. The story of this woman would fall under "It shouldn't be this easy"

There is a very popular pay per view show where criminals are chased down and eaten by preds and there was a short lived "suicide by sea lion" fad after a brother and sister got filmed being swallowed by one. A Darwin Awards show like that would definitely get good ratings. 83
