i'll look it up, catholics and protestants, nnnng i don't think that would be an easy alliace then.
Most religeous christians were as bad back then as the moslems are right now versus anyone else's religeon or really way of life.
So the Hundred years war a few years later comes to mind, that was religeon taken to secular extremes in idealogical war.
(i saw this movie with omar shariff and michael caine called the last valley, weapons and how solidiers fought in giant mercenary individualist armies, this is rather accurate).
grandpa's have little tolerance for people they don't like, and ther's noth grammy can ever do to change it, he could save his life or make him xillions, but still grandpa would not trust a frog.
