Been a while since I posted anything of BA characters, and since he is all about Darkness, figured this be the best time to showcase him.

Dislikes: being proven wrong, blind jokes, being interrupted, Slick, not being in the know.

The main antagonist of Blessed Affliction. Born to the cult of Set, Damian Albright was to help spread the the glory that Set, Egyptian Good of Evil, had to offer. In the cult's eyes, they believed that if Set was to rule over the world, then the Earth would be perfect, though they did horrible deeds in order to obtain there twisted vision. One way they figured to accomplish there goals was to have a grand occasion taken over by the Cult, but it had to be monumental, and that is when they found out about the Terra forming of the moon mission.

Damian was one of the selected few to infiltrate the GENESIS Space program in order to claim the Terra forming in the name of Set and take the world by storm. Trained to be a warrior from birth, Damian easily proceed his intelligence, cunning, agility and overall might to his demonstrators. No one could keep up with his pace, no one but Anthony, who proved to be almost, if not as good as Damian himself. At first, he only saw Anthony as a joke, then rival, and eventually even a friend, that was until the final test.

The final consisted of getting out of a maze at a certain time limit, everyone was partnered with someone, Damian and Anthony we're of course paired together as they had been shown to work well together in the past, though all that changed. Damian and Anthony would have gotten first place, but Anthony stopped to help a downed person and cost them greatly, though the true test was not to see how fast you could get out, but how well you could work with others to accomplish a similar goal. Anthony had passed, but sadly, Damian did not and was booted out of the program for death threats towards those who passed him, particularly Anthony.

Sadly, things only got worst for Damian when he returned home and they found out about his failure. The once mighty Damian Albright was nothing more than a failure to the cult. Enraged by this defeat and mockery, he went to the one person who he dedicated his life to. He called for Set himself. He demanded that anyone who knew of this failure of his be erased from the Earth, that those involved with the GENESIS program be destroyed.

Set, not really caring for such petty desire asked Damian what he would give in order to see this destruction unfold. With in an instant, Damian said he would give up his sight in order for the world to be destroyed. Set laughed and took his eyes and proceeded to cause havoc on the world, though, it seemed that not all the God's, Egyptian, Norse, Hindu, etc, were too keen on the idea and proceeded to stop him, which cause the event that didn't necessarily destroy the world, but changed it.

After the world's massive new makeover, Damian soon found that he was the only member of the Cult of Set still alive, and despite having no eyes, he was able to see. Not traditionally, but by the very shadows around him. With the Cult gone, Damian was free from there high standards and disappoint to make a new name for himself in this strange world. And thus, Mr. Shade was born.
