Torpedo sat on the beach, thinking of the previous night's events.
"I saved a fox... I battled alongside of him."
The hostility between land dwellers and sea dwellers was on his mind, but he couldn't help but put it aside. Last night he and the fox had fought together in the abandoned warehouse at the edge of the island, one of the few places that land and sea connected that wasn't a beach, or fenced off by a divide.
It was shocking, but he couldn't help but be a little proud.
"I couldn't have let him drown, even if our disguises came off."
He remembered the fox's leg being tied to a ball and chain, and those unknown assailants.
"Avians I assume..."
Torpedo then looked to fence that was the divide between the beach and forest.
"I wonder if he ever comes down here? I mean, he was at the shrine after all..."
The shrine he spoke of from earlier was agreed to be off-limits by both land and sea dwellers. Torpedo had gone to it chasing after those unknown assailants, who he assumed were land dwellers at first, and ran into the fox who apparently doing the same thing.
Though they were both disguised, they were pretty synced.
A small blush appeared on the shark's face.
"You know... He was actually kinda cute."
The image of the fox appeared in his mind. Short, golden fur, green eyes, white hair, and he had that strange mark on his neck.
"He looked so small and fragile, but he's pretty fast, and knows how use his magic."
A dreamy sigh left his lips, and he looked back up at the clouds.
He wanted to meet that fox again.
"I wish I had asked for his name at least..."

Yay! More Torpedo the shark, because Arceus knows I need it.
For people who don't know, Torpedo is Fox Aladar's (Non-videogame) canon lover. Basically they live in a world where land and sea creatures are out for each other's blood, and avians are kinda like gods who despise all the fighting between the two.
If I ever make my own original story with my own characters, it'll be about these two.
Yeah, he and my Garchomp share the same name since they're both sharks, and I love them.
