I love sketching with lighter colors like this greyish purple (which is my favorite color, btw) because it makes me feel less anxious to mess up a pretty, clean page. I also usually use a lower-contrast background (a lighter dark purple usually) so it doesn't hurt my eyes as much/there's even less worry about starting on a white page. Just a tip, if you have the same weird anxieties I do :)

I found this in my old sketch folder while coming across something I wanted to work on! I doodled this while working at Best Buy as a Microsoft Expert, so I got to carry around my Surface Pro all day haha.
