On one had you reminded me of the seriousness that is often overlooked where diabetes is concerned in our society. My biological father had it, though it seemed to find little purchase in his daily affirs, stubborn old bastard that he was. However, his friend B.J. also had it. He wasn't so lucky, losing his sight and more, in time... *tches* Harsh stuff, love.

Oh, love... *sighs, smiling* My love for serial killin' knows no color, truly. From the rich brown joys of Count Chocula to the sweet pink of Frankenberry... the luscious blue Booberry... even the oft-forgotten neon hues of both the Frute Brute and his even fruitier(eheh) companion, the Yummy Mummy...

Oh dear demon, I do feel you... *smirks* Autumn consistently bring me the joys of crunching leaves between my toes, the first crisp day of the cooling season and the return of at least 3 out of the 5 monster cereals.
I try to give as much of my business to Target as I can with them being as outspoken as they are on LGBTQ issues- I want to return the support they show for me and mine... *head tilts* and it is nice to be able to shop around without being swarmed with people's religious propaganda giving me the stink eye... but it'd be a bit easier if they might try being open when I'm actually up... *grumbles* Walmart is about the only game in town when you keep my schedule.

I only make the long ass walk to Aldi's once a month cause it helps me save money food wise. But yes,I do understand that dear... I know the character's based on Peter Lorrie but every time I see any of those classic commercials I can't help but think "that little blue ghost is stoned out of his mind..." and then I imagine that he'd likely be pretty fun to get baked and watch a marathon of old Price Is Right episodes with.

When I was a wee thing, still living at home, we weren't so well off, financially. Thus my mum used to call it that, "Tar-Jay". It was her way of faux-mocking it for being more pricey than a few of the other local retailers, much like it's even more expensive cousin store "Jaque Penne"...

Now, knowing this factoid makes me very sad... this is the first tick I think I've ever had in the "minus" column where Canada is concerned... I've yet to get to visit"The Great White North"- rather vexing point that, as I have several people I've wanted to meet for years, see their world through the lens of their lives... No monster cereals?! *shakes her head* Now that won't do... That's just... *sighs*
