Bittersweet Tales Ch. 29: Soreness Alleviated
After the events of a rather serious night with Abigail; the Limetales finds herself staying locked up in her room in a depressed state for over a full 24 hour period! Wondering what to do with herself as all her ideals crumpled to the ground due to that event. Realizing staying locked up in her room will provide no answers, Emberflame gets up the morning after and informs her best friend, Shadow, that she will be leaving Clearspring to find herself again. Figuring that if seeing her trainer again won't fix her, then nothing will.
This then proceeds to have the green Kyuubi detour into Hearthome City to deal with something she wanted to make right. Rusty and Treat, along with Rusty's trainer Mark. She owed the three an apology in her own mind, venturing forth to the Contest Hall as she meets back up with Abigail's judge friend, Carol. Proceeding to spend the day with her before finally getting a chance to show her true colors to Mark and Rusty.
As the fire-type leaves the burden of the past behind her; along with accepting a new one that is far less heavy. What else shall happen in the place where it all seemed to begin?

I'd say finish to what I started in Chapter 5 of my own series here. I really... I felt like Chapter 5 just wasn't satisfying, especially given how much time had passed in-story and the fact Emberflame is a pretty forgiving Ninetales. Thus... well. You'll see what this all means in-story!
Also a bit of a note. I did alot of heavy editing in this one and I really hope it shows! Usually I hand my stuff off to Auron for proofreading, but this time I not only did my own reread so I could fix my mistakes. I also worked on making my sentences look a bit less contrived or excessive to the point of possibly causing unwanted confusion. Do let me know if it looks better if you care to do so!
