Each year I buy a foam pumpkin and carve it to represent my year. Last year was getting my home and a cat.

This year is the addition of cat number two and watching a total eclipse with my husband. As much as having two flooded basements impacted my life and finances, adding a new munchkin and that eclipse were phenomenal events that outweigh any negatives.

Plus adding floooding didn’t work with the design ;)
