I've noticed something about the YF/VF-19 series... as development went the lense protecting the Cam in the head... slowly retracted till it's placement on the Excalibur model

Always loved the YF-19's, ever since Macross Plus.

Then ofcourse they showed the YF-25 in special armor on Macross Frontier and this guy got slightly negleced :P
