In Arab legends (yes I don’t think they had fez there, only in Maghreb, but I didn’t want to draw half a turban, it would have been ridiculous ; same reason I didn’t give a veil, or it would be between the halves, unpractical and uncomfortable for them I think), there is a strange creature called nasnas looking half-people. Literally. They look like humans but only with half a head, half a body, one arm and one hand, and they hop with agility to move from one point to another. They are not dangerous, but they tend to feel lonely, as if “incomplete”. When they get very close to a nasnas, whether it is out of fraternal or parental or romantic love, and are lucky enough to be the right side and the left side, they assemble together, forming one being and helping each other to walk normally. They were the original fusion lmao
