AQWorlds recently had a Vampire vs Lycans event a few days ago.
The war was about the resurrection of the old Vampire Queen, Safiria. However, Constantin, the Werewolf King, thinks that the current Vampire Queen Solani is a better ruler for their country. Since Solani doesn't discriminate the Lycans. Even if Solani is Safiria's niece.

Naturally, the Lycans are preventing the resurrection while the Vampires are defending it. Unfortunately, it was a one-sided battle and the Vampires completely defeated the Lycans.

I was so salty and frustrated on what happened. Not just because the vampires won, but because the rewards for Lycans weren't as good as the Vampires'. Making most players to lean over the vampire side. That, and because Safiria is back, Darkovia will revert to it's Vampire vs Lycan phase. It's like all progress for peace in Darkovia wen't down the drain. At least Solani is still upholding the peace. Just hope she'll be able to maintain it.

Strangely, these two seem to have a "budding romance". I noticed it during the war where Solani whispers "Constantin, WHY??" while rallying the vampires. Also, Constantin held Solani's hand while he says he wants her to stay as the Vampire Queen.
