My excitement over working with my species not only manifested in the concept and creation of an entirely new aspect I had not previously considered, it also gave birth to this beautiful fellow. While I am deeply saddened to say that I will be using them as my face for the Eldara species instead of Vajra, he is still equally important to both myself and the overarching story. So far he will also be the only constant companion Nyx will have once they finally meet, so these two have quite a bit ahead of them.
Based off of a description I wrote which only really had free reign with regards to the markings and what he decorated his horn with, the wonderful Pedge drew this as part of their '10 minute doodle' commissions. I am still flabbergasted by the fact they were able to do this in such little time, especially with all of the reading they would have to do in order to have gotten every last detail spot on! They even hinted at the fact he is a simulant of bio-technological and bio-magical origin, which is why he is capable of controlling magic simply referred to as 'Cosmos'--thanks to the types it consists of. It is not the literal control of the actual cosmos; not even the deities of his galaxy are capable of those kinds of feats.
Unlike the majority who have been submitted so far (or that exist in my head space), his face is based more around an anglicized deer with a mask that covers most of his head. His wings are also slightly longer and have an extra finger by comparison to Vajra and Roshni, though this is fairly common when you get to the Eldaran's outside of the continent they are native to. His channeling object is a floating lantern, inside of which is a single, black iron key that softly glows and has been enchanted to hover.
As for his name being 'Nyx', it is one I am highly tentative about, doubly so when you consider that whatever it winds up being for him, I will be adopting it as my nickname. I have been known as Lacera and Talon (or Lace and Tally respectively) since '02, based off of a character who is still around, but that I no longer utilize. So it will be a nice change of pace once I figure it out or if it actually sticks as being 'Nyx'.
