This is the result of about a week of studying *and working* on this drawing..
basically I took all of the best heroic musculature artists and studied what I liked/ didn't and developed my own style in the longrun.. *which im still useing now*
This was really neat to try and I filled up at least three pages full of practice doodles in my book getting to where I wanted this to look right.
A nice powerful pose and setup.. and and I tried to fix his posture to a more believeable one.. Cool thing is I gave the big lug the same career that I have on my summers off.. I'm a construction worker myself I.R.L ^_- so It just seemed to fit!
oh yeah and he Belongs to my Girl Gravewalker
gravewalkerso im sorry to anybody who has any funny ideas... cause she would kill you ^_-
as of content mehh.. Its a larger version of my avatar Ryoku for once.. I typically draw him far smaller than this.. but He does have the ability to adapt and change his body to fit any possible configuration or size he chooses... so his potencial for anything physical is almost limitless *unless it renders him immobile which would suck...majorly* *lol*
so I consider him one of the largest of muscle furries! and you don't get none XD furries!

The detail and expression of the face its very secure, it gives a good impression ^^
The muscle proportion are colossal, and that is reflected in the size of the head.
I personally would like some wider and stronger abs... and to make his pants bigger... and maybe bulge it up ^^U, you are big, you know?, show it up.

heh tobe honest I purposly avoided giveing him any definition in the south quarters due to fans wanting more of that.. and yeah the abbs could need a little more mass.. but this is still an experimental stage ^_^ better versions shall come later now that I'm mastering the style
Holy crap!
Jeesh you have no idea how long I've waited for you to notice me ^_^; dang dude I've been watching your stuff since I was like in 8th grade! Though I never mailed you or anything I learned alot from your work because it was outstanding refrence! and you kept your gallery clean so I didn't have to view things I didn't approove of ^^; You've been a big influence on me man! hah I was hopeing one day you might spot me out of the community ^_^
Glad you like the style MW! alot of my lore & studies of male & female musculature is because your stuff sparked an interest in me years ago!
would be an honour someday to have a trade when my comissions slow down a bit ;_;

A week of pure study? That's where most improvement is made! The piece itself does scream the style of comic-book, save the face, which is of course your design.
Only drawback is how holding that beam balanced like that would bring anyone to the ground, but the important part is to keep focus on the subject, of course.
Very good, very fuzzy.

I know there's a color version of this out, now, but I still like the pure lined drawing better. It really brings out the detail of the muscles. And there are SO many muscles!
Plus, I have a weakness for guys in construction outfits, so this pic is pretty much one of my fantasies brought to life on the page.
Awesome attention to anatomy as well. You've clearly studied to get it right, Ryoku.

So you want comments ey? Well I might just as well crack my 0 comment bouble here as well as anywhere else :)
Well what is there too say? You really manage to get muscle anatomy right and I like it ALOT. I also like the fur texture you managed to get in there and the general posture although I also know that those things ways in at more then ANYONE would possibly even come CLOSE to carry like that on the shoulder. But where's the fun in that ey? I only find 2 problems here.
1: I don't know how they're supposed to be but arn't those pants very flappy as not much of the legs are shown?
2: FORGOT THE HARD-HAT! lol ;)

Haha well thanks alot for the long comment ^_^ Glad you like the anatomy! this was actually my first attempt at makeing my guy larger. Oh and the I-Beam is actually a tribute to my job as a construction worker during my summers. So I really have seen what it takes to move one of those. But think of how useful it would be to have your own monster chimera to move transport heavy materials without machines :3
and yeah the pants were just added later because I really couldn't figure the design out at the time.
oh yeah! there is a finished version here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1029928/ if you're interested ^_^

It's my pleasure entirely.
First attempt huh? Well geez after seeing the stuff that came out later I guess you had to like it huh? XP
Yes it WOULD be VERY usefull if something like that could just pop up and do stuff like that. You'd cut the timeframe and costs by about 1/4 or something!
I know I saw it. Still I like the uncoloured one better (I usualy like the grey tones better). No offence.
