This is going to sound weird for me to focus on, but this is the first sensible use of a robotic leg on any Star Fox character I've seen in the entirety of this website, and it makes me actually quite happy to see it.

I honestly hate the "theory", not because of fetish reasons (though those are present in some form) but because it never made sense and it just seemed like a way to be edgy. Not to mention any pic that showed the crew having organic legs would invariably get a swarm of "DID YOU KNOW THAT THEY DON'T ACTUALLY HAVE LEGS??? :D:D:D". I was happy when Nintendo debunked it.

Regardless, however, this is the first pic I've actually seen that uses a robotic leg (with a nice reference to the dolls used for the original Star Fox material) as what it should be for - a replacement for a lost limb.

I kinda gave up on that ever being a thing, but you did it, and it works really well.

Also, the picture is really nice. I should probably read the story it's based on, too :)

Glad you noticed! Fox loses a leg (and arm too, though it's on the background so it isn't as noticable) in that story, and gets them replaced with robotic prosthetics, so I thought it would be a nice callback :D
