The Mightyena Mastermind
Rune came back to the Winners headquarters late one night and had a strange encounter with a mysterious figure in the dark! It's up to him to find out the true identity of the one lurking beneath the base, and stop his evil scheme.
Hahahahooooooowl~!
Had this character in mind for a while and was trying to find the right way to write a story about him, then I realised a mad scientist might be a fun Halloween story. :D
Don't worry, it's not canon. How can he build robots without thumbs? (I mean, how would the robots hold anything without them?)

The story may not be canon, but I doubt these two stories are the last we'll see of him. Was expecting more of an "Affably Evil" kind of character from the Mightyena as opposed to such a direct angry-scientist deal, and I think it would suit him well if you're using his end-of-story character. He's certainly otaku either way.
Nice touch with the subtle references to Eevee's Japanese name and Mightyena's Dex number, but with how Rune and Leaf didn't understand the name at first, that re-sparked my thoughts on languages within Pokemon, as perceived by both humans and the Pokemon themselves. Long story short, I imagine a Japanese Eevee makes Eievui (or Iibui) syllables, a French/German one makes Evoli syllables, and so on. And in cases like Pikachu, I guess they'd have such strange enough accents as to be unintelligible to non-speakers.
Oh, and I totally wish a show like that were real, or any Eevee-themed show for that matter. I'd watch it even if it weren't very good.

Hehe, thanks. I'm glad you liked it, and that someone picked up on the Mightyena's dex number thing. I knew I needed to give it a robot name x3
I must admit I hadn't considered how language would work between Pokemon when I wrote those lines, also following on from what you said about not seeing the last of him I had a blast writing him and would love to bring him back around, just a lot less low tech than this. He was originally based on Dr Horrible of Dr Horrible's Sing-a-long blog (hence Patrick after Neil 'Patrick' Harris), though I eventually decided to go for an Otaku approach instead. I imagine if he were brought back he would probably try to blend in as a normal Mightyena while he secretly plotted to take over the world with his Rotom buddy... though the super intelligent gummi thing is pretty cool.
I think I might just have to reintroduce him with the same abilities but far more limited resources. x3

okay i have to say what i think everyone else might be thinking: that spice getting along with someone he just met by the power of child hood nostalgia tv shows is an awesome concept that should be expanded upon fopr how many hilarious jokes and concepts could occur from this simple and fun idea!
