As usual your sense of proportions and anatomy and perspective blows my mind. ^..^ Your ability to make things look incredibly real and believable are really great and it's always a pleasure when you post a new work. :)

This pic is amazing on too many levels for my miniature brain to list. All I can say is I am envious of your talent and ability to do this tough perspective as if it were a photograph.

Goodness, that's some mighty fine perspective there.

As with so many of your drawings as well, the anatomy and attention to detail in representation of it are fantastic. Particularly springing to mind here is the way the one wing is lazily drooping off the side of the sofa - and the position of the head. Just looks "right" I think. Both the shape of the muzzle and the legs must have been a real challenge from this angle.

Only problem I see is that if I lay like that for any length of time - like when I frequently fall asleep like that when flopping after work, I always seem to end up losing blood circulation to my arms, and having that needly sensation in your fingers is really not something you want to do twice. Though it does make apparently for highly amusing noises of displeasure when I wake up and try to move.

I have the same problem when I sleep belly down and my arms folded under my pillow... which is how I sleep 90% of the time, lol...

Yep...I second that. Circulation is one of those really annoying things which it's very easy to break - but is critical to anything resembling comfort. I cannot help but feel that wings would be equally prone to such problems! Probably all the more reason for the one above being draped over the edge of the sofa - at least he's not laying on it!

Funny you should mention that as I've always blamed not being able to sleep on my back on the (anticipated) presence of wings and tail.

You're not the only one who suffers from that affliction either! Can be a real nuisance at times too! More interesting than a good deal of other reasons one may have trouble sleeping though I think. Bit of a tricky one to explain to other people though...

Still sorting out all the submissions I missed this summer. All you need is a little bit of drooling to complete the snoozing Dragon... oh and maybe some color! The folds, warping and rippling of your wing membranes make this flow so well. }:=)
