yeah that's true. the other day I was looking through a book with differnt kinds. Some of them look hella scary though! XD Did you use reference for these though?

not really. I did have to google up how their eyes and beaks looked (for some reason I completely forgot, I kept imagining hawk beaks) but really all of these are total BS owls that kind of maybe resemble real owls. :D

Owls are so cool. These are all just so wonderfully done... The one in the upper left twisting down under the branch reminds me of every beautiful/terrifying nightmare I had as a kid, hahaha!
