And i fail to see how fire ants kill off the other two, they are all ants! Should be an even playing field?

Aggression levels are different even though they are all ants

Also, you have to remember that as an invasive species they have no natural predators to keep their numbers in balance, therefore less harvester ants in the area and more fire ants

Harvester ants form small isolated colonies while fire ants are very fast breeders who can quickly create large colonies. Argentine ants are an especially problematic invasive species as they form linked cooperative colonies each with multiple queens. They also do better in urban environments than other species as humans will tend to ignore them due to their small size and non-aggressive nature while a large species with a painful sting like the harvester ant will generally be exterminated when found.
