This is a vary musing peice. What was your insperation for your first attempt/final product?

I didn't really have any inspiration for the first one, other than sampling the Amen break. It wouldn't be too bad if I hadn't drastically muffled everything by accident.

I make it a point to experiment as much as I can with techniques and styles I've never done before in my music. It's the only way to truly improve

So, I woke up this morning and one of the riffs to this song was extremely stuck in my head, and for twenty minutes it was driving me crazy while I lay in bed trying to figure out where the hell it was from. I poured over the track lists of all the CDs I could think of, and tried to figure out if perhaps I'd heard it on www.di.fm somehow. When I finally figured it out I had to jump online immediately and play it. So yeah.
