It seems Ash-Greninja's intensive efforts to bring nature back under control has driven the local flora a bit crazy, and also made it particulatly agitated around Greninjas. It's new method of defense against bipedal blue frogs is for the most part utterly bewildering, but very effective nonetheless.

Kalos really has become a dangerous turf, hasn't it?^^
This little guy is pretty much screwed, entangled in the plants grip like that. That alone would be enough to keep him still, I guess. But, to make sure, why not zap his strength by sending him into a huge laughing fit?
Someone will come around and help him escape eventually...right? I mean, all this laughing has to attract someone. If that someone is instantly going to help the little frog out, or first grab the holocaster to film what's happening here, is a matter of some debate, though.^^"
Thinking back to the kalos league, if Sawyer had this as a backup plan for Ash's Greninja, his Sceptile would certainly have won. (Which would be rather silly, of course, but a lot less annoyingly stupid than the fight against Alain.)

Don't worry, this Greninja is gonna be released.... as soon as he faints, that is. The plants won't stop going at him until he's completely K-O, so much is their rankled state.
I drew this picture with Sceptile's Frenzy Plant in mind, yes. But since this starter Pokemon can't learn Tickle and breaking the walls would mean publicly humiliating Ash-Greninja by tickling him into forfeiting the match during the Kalos League, I used another Greninja. Sempai became a good choice, since his missions always take him through forests, and he has his trainer to free him. Don't worry, he's in good hands ^^
