(Checks your home page) Ah, I see, you're Dutch, so my reference would probably be quite obscure, especially since it's a combination of two different things.
Here in the States, there's a popular cartoon character (actually a puppet) called Kermit the Frog, who occasionally sings and plays the banjo. One of his more famous songs includes the lyric "It ain't easy being green." There's also an insurance company called GEICO, and one of their advertising campaigns features an animated talking gecko. Your illustration reminded me of both characters, so my "quote" imagines them merged into one. :)
